Explanation: The slash in the chord name indicates that the second letter is added as a new bass note. Gm7/C should therefore be read as G minor seventh chord with a C note in the bass and so forth. Note that Gm7/C would also be possible to play using two hands without an inversion.
Theory: Gm7/C could be seen as an inversion of Gm11 with the ninth omitted. Gm7/Eb is identical with Ebmaj9. Gm7/E could be seen as an inversion of Gm13 with the ninth and the eleventh omitted.
