Explanation: The slash in the chord name indicates that the second letter is added as a new bass note. G7/E should therefore be read as G seventh chord with an E note in the bass and so forth. Note that G7/A would also be possible to play using two hands without an inversion.
Theory: G7/E could be seen as an inversion of G13 with the ninth and the eleventh omitted. G7/C could be seen as an inversion of G11 with the ninth omitted. G7/A is also an inversion of G9.
