Explanation: The slash in the chord name indicates that the second letter is added as a new bass note. D7/B should therefore be read as D seventh chord with a B note in the bass and so forth. Note that D7/E would also be possible to play using two hands without an inversion.
Theory: D7/B could be seen as an inversion of D13 with the ninth and the eleventh omitted. D7/G could be seen as an inversion of D11 with the ninth omitted. D7/E is also an inversion of D9.
