On this page you can study the famous classical piece “Ode to Joy” in three ways at once: an animated piano keyboard shows which keys are played, the score is displayed in the video, and the audio lets you hear the piano sound. When you press Play, the piano animation and the sheet music video start in sync, so you can see and hear exactly how the notes match the keyboard.
The highlighted keys shows both hands playing the piano. The left hand is highlighted in orange color and the right hand in red color. Although the goal should be to play the piece with two hands, you could make is less hard in the beginning by only play with one hand. If you only play with one hand, follow the red highlighted keys and the upper part note system in the score will probably be more satisfying since it matches the melody of the song. It may still be a good idea, though, to also play the left-hand part for reaching the goal to finally play it with both hands.
This makes it easier to understand how the notes on the music sheet correspond to the piano keys and how written notation translates into real playing.
